How it works
Overview of the escrow process.
 
Before starting your transaction:

The buyer and seller need to decide upon who will pay the escrow fees. The buyer will need to decide on a payment option and how and where the equipment is to be shipped and the seller will need to determine how they want to receive the funds.

1) The Buyer and Seller Agree to the Terms:
Both parties agree to the terms of the transaction. A Sales and Purchase Agreement is filled out and signed by both the Buyer and The Seller.

2) The Buyer Pays NPV Escrow Services:
The Buyer makes a payment to NPV Escrow Services, Inc. and NPV Escrow Services, Inc. verifies that the funds have cleared and are good. Depending upon the form of payment the processing time can vary.

3) The Seller Ships Equipment:
Seller is not authorized to ship until cleared funds are received into the Escrow Account. Seller submits tracking information to NPV Escrow Services, Inc.

4) The Buyer Accepts the Equipment:
According to the Sales and Purchase Agreement the Buyer has an inspection period and the option to accept or reject the merchandise.

5) The Seller is Paid:
Once all of the terms of the transaction have been completed and verified, NPV Escrow Services, Inc. will pay you the same or next business day. If your Sales and Purchase Agreement states that the Seller is to pay the escrow fees the fees will be deducted automatically from the purchase price.

Checks:
We only accept checks drawn on a US bank payable to NPV Escrow Services, Inc. (subject to a 10 day bank hold) We do not accept Cashiers Checks or Money Orders.
